I got to Vegas Thursday evening after a long, hard drive. Feels good to relax for a while. Poolside; cold one in hand. It is incredibly hot in Vegas. A high of 98 degrees Fahrenheit is the norm right now.
I have been getting some nice comments from you guys out there. Thanks, it inspires me to do more. (by the way I read them all. Keep 'em coming.)
When you ride you have time to think alot. You think about the what's around you sometimes, the scenery, that grazing horse you just passed, a little puff of a cloud alone in the arid dessert sky. At times you dream. You smell things that remind you of your childhood. At times you think about your personal life and the people in it. At times you are just hypnotized by the droning sound of the engine, the wind. While I've got this written blog going, I've got a mind blog going as well when I ride. I call it a MOG. lol.
There are many experiences and things I want to write about but, alas, there isn't enough time. I'll try to get in stuff to document a feel for the trip. But I just don't have enough time to do everything. I've gotta unpack/pack every day, set up the laptop, hopefully there's wi-fi, call ahead to make hotel reservations, check the bike, shower, try to get a hot meal down, the usual stuff. It would'a been better if I had someone else along to take care of that. I would really like to write more. But I'll do what I can.
It's also a pain to take photos when on a bike. I got gloves, glasses, gear, zippers, pockets, stuff. I was trying to develop a way to take a picture while riding but I gave it up. It's like I want to stop every 5 minutes sometimes, I'm seeing so many great things. But I gotta cover lots of miles too.
Anyhoo, just checking in. Will post some photos soon. Although, the guys are now here and this might make blogging a leeeeeettle more, how shall we say, difficult?
Pretty Darn Hot & Sexy there in your chaps. Wow!
